Payroll Specialist
Your Responsibilities
- Process payroll for local and expatriate employees, ensuring accuracy and timelines
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity
- Calculate wages, bonuses and deductions
- Handle payroll inquiries and resolve and discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Prepare and submit required payroll reports
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations
- Administer compensation and benefits plans
- Conduct periodic audits of the payroll system to ensure compliance
- Analyze compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plans
- Participate in compensation surveys to analyze the company's competitive position
- Prepare reports and recommendations to inform compensation strategies
- Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current law and regulations
- Assist in the development of incentive programs and commission structures
Your Profile
- Bachelor's Degree or Master in Business, Administration, HR Management or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in Payroll, preferably in a manufacturing company
- Good knowledge of the local labor law and taxation topics
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance
- Familiarity with payroll software and MS Office suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
