Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing:
Process payroll for all employees on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy in salary calculations, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
Prepare and manage payroll reports, ensuring all payments are processed within established timelines.
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including EPF (Employees Provident Fund), SOCSO (Social Security Organization), EIS (Employment Insurance Scheme), and PCB (Potongan Cukai Berjadual).
Statutory Contributions And Compliance
Calculate and remit all statutory payments, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and Income Tax (PCB), in a timely manner.
Prepare and submit statutory returns such as Form E, EA, and CP39 within deadlines. Stay updated on changes in payroll-related regulations and ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws.
Employee Records Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records, including salary information, deductions, and leave balances.
Handle the administration of employee benefits, such as medical claims, insurance, and allowances.
Manage the payroll system, including data entry, updates, and backups.
Payroll Queries And Support
Address and resolve employee queries related to payroll, deductions, and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
Provide support to HR and Finance departments in payroll-related matters and audits.
Assist in the preparation of payroll-related budgets and forecasts.
Payroll System Management
Experience using Infotech payroll system will be an advantage.
Ensure the payroll system is accurately maintained, updated, and secure.
Work with IT and external vendors to resolve any payroll system issues or upgrades.
Generate and review payroll reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Reporting And Reconciliation
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for management.
Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements related to payroll expenses.
Job Requirements
The Payroll Executive is responsible for managing and processing the companys payroll in compliance with local laws and regulations. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate payment of salaries, statutory contributions, and other payroll-related matters. The Payroll Executive also plays a key role in maintaining employee records, handling payroll queries, and ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in payroll administration.
