About The Role
We are currently looking for a registered Patent Agent to join our team in our Kuala Lumpur office.
Candidates considering this position will be registered Patent Agents and have a PhD or master's in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Life Science (in any field of specialization)/ chemistry or Material Science (in any field of specialization). More importantly, candidates must exhibit strong English Language communication skills (both written and oral) and the capacity for understanding diverse technologies. Whilst preference will be given to candidates who are Registered Patent Agents, candidates with 3-5 years of relevant experience in Intellectual Property will also be considered.
The role involves all aspects of patent work including the drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications in Malaysia, Singapore and abroad.
For those candidates who are not yet registered, they will receive training and development towards becoming a Malaysian Registered Patent Agent, Candidates must be ready to make a commitment (typically for a few years) towards becoming a registered Patent Agent.
