Combine raw ingredients according to established standardized recipes, to produce baked products for inclusion in various desserts, pies, pastries, and specialty confections
Plate and presents desserts in an artistic and aesthetically appealing manner
Work with relevant employees to develop new and imaginative desserts and pastries that would enhance the image of the restaurant's culinary reputation
Order necessary bulk ingredients to provide for estimated demand.
Ensure that sufficient quantities of various ingredients are available to produce high-quality, finished products in a timely manner
Receive and inspect all bulk ingredients, ensuring products received are fresh and of the quality/grade ordered
Stores all ingredients properly, according to established governmental food safety standards
Follows all sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination of raw products and eliminate the potential for bacterial growth and resulting foodborne illness
Uses all mixing and baking equipment and tools in a safe manner according to manufacturer's recommendations
Reports equipment malfunctions and safety/sanitation problems
Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead and encourage others;
Advocate sound financial decision-making;
Demonstrate honesty/integrity and lead by example by being a role model
Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
Maintains the productivity level of employees, while ensuring that employees understand expectations and parameters
Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment

Requirements:
- 1 year experience as Pastry Commis
Thorough understanding of products, ingredients, equipment and techniques- Able to work flexible schedule include weekends and holidays

Pay: RM2,- 00 - RM3,500.00 per month
