Key Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement growth strategies and plans to increase revenue and market share
Generate new business through outbound prospecting efforts as well as following up on marketing generated leads
Research, identify, and qualify new client opportunities
Drive sales for digital marketing and advertising services including SEO, PPC, Social Media Advertising, Media Buys, and Digital Marketing Strategy
Drive sales for large-sized e-commerce website and CMS design and development projects
Creating project proposals / bids for Malaysian government agencies on ePerolehan
Lead the business development process including ideation, proposal preparation, and pitching during sales presentations
Initiate and drive overall sales strategy to develop new business in Malaysia or potentially in the region
Identify and map business strengths and clients needs
Research business opportunities and viable income streams
Follow industry trends locally and internationally
Draft and review contracts
Report on successes and areas needing improvements
Enter and maintain accurate information in CRM to track sales and pipeline
Maintain visibility of activities through proper reporting
Attend networking events
Academic & Professional Qualifications
Diploma, Professional Certs, Degree or higher.
Achievements & Experience
2-3 years of professional experience in sales / business development, specialising in software sales or digital marketing.
Basic knowledge in Digital Marketing, primarily Search Engine Marketing and Social Media Advertising
Sales prospecting experience cold calling
Experience in an agency will be considered a plus
