About Us:Brixsten Academy is seeking a part-time tutor to teach IGCSE Science and Mathematics. The tutor must be able to attend day classes between 10 AM and 3:30 PM. If you are passionate about education and have expertise in these subjects, we'd love to hear from you!
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in accordance with the IGCSE curriculum for Science and Mathematics.
- Assess students progress through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.- Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience at Brixsten Academy.
- Maintain accurate records of students progress and report regularly to parents and guardians.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and subject matter expertise.- Contribute to the development and improvement of curriculum materials and teaching resources.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, or a related field.- Proven experience in teaching IGCSE Science and Mathematics
Strong knowledge of the IGCSE curriculum and assessment standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic potential.- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in using educational technology and online teaching tools
