Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize and present instructional materials at scheduled times and locations.
- Communicate effectively with students and colleagues to ensure efficient and effective instruction.
- Maintain records of student attendance, progress, departmental supplies, equipment, and more.
- Uphold discipline and order during instructional activities.
- Prepare daily lesson plans and instructional materials
- Evaluate student progress and performance and assign grades accordingly.
- Enforce approved departmental rules and regulations in classrooms and labs.
- Recommend counseling, probation, or dismissal for students with excessive absences, disruptive behavior, or lack of progress.
- Initiate requisitions and work order requests.
- Develop, review, and update lesson plans and work instructions (WIM) in compliance with the syllabus to reflect current practices.
Requirements:
Minimum of a degree in a related field.
Vocational Teaching Certificate (VTO) or teaching experience is an added advantage.
