Job Purpose
Perform plant and equipment commissioning, startup, shutdown, and turnaround activities, maintain normal operating conditions and coordinate equipment preparation for maintenance in an effective manner conforming to Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) and Statutory requirements so as to achieve targeted objectives.

Qualification & Experience
Qualifications
- Diploma in any relevant discipline from recognized institution.
- Certificate from INSTEP/Polytechnic in any Technical discipline.
- Possess valid relevant certificates or competencies where applicable.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years experience in oil refining and /or petrochemical plant operation specifically operating Distributed Control System (DCS) and Emergency Shutdown system (ESD).
- Good theoretical and practical knowledge of all aspects of the plants.
- Possess good trouble shooting skills and must be resourceful and able to evaluate unusual circumstances.
- Demonstrate the skill and maturity in handling process unit normal operation, emergency scenario and upset condition.
- Able to develop and improvised operating procedure for a process unit.
- Must be conversant with HSSE standards, rules and regulations, MS ISO 9001:2000, MS ISO 14001, procedures, and company policies.
- Possess good written and verbal communication skill.
