Management of operational risks and provide support with the required risk knowledge and updates necessary for better strategic/ business decision making to ensure none/ minimal business disruption and adequate controls are in place to detect potential risk.

Promote risk awareness within Operations in compliance with the Group, local and regulatory Corporate Governance and Risk Management Framework to minimize financial, reputational, and operational risks arising from legal and regulatory non-compliances.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a liaison officer on Risk and Governance related matters for Operations Division.
Well-verse with all operational risk policies and guidelines as per PAMB and local regulatory standards in leading discussion to ensure respective business unit understand and to instill their awareness of all the Risk Management.
Detection of potential risks at its earliest point possible in leading engagement and collaboration activities with relevant stakeholders to ensure incidents are reported and resolved with committed and reasonable time frame.
Ensure preventive measures for incidents and complaints are implemented or executed accordingly to prevent occurrence of incidents and complaints which may bring negative impact to the business and customers.
Work with stakeholders in reviewing the Operational Risk & Control to identify process and control gaps, high risk areas and to provide value-added assessment and recommendation to stakeholders to rectify and mitigate the weaknesses and observations noted and to ensure corrective and preventive actions are instituted. Challenge the status quo to ensure integrity of existing business controls and continuous improvements are in place.
Implementation and coordination of Risk Management initiatives/activities (including risk reviews and risk related projects) within Operations, through proactive engagement with the Risk Coordinators and other key stakeholders.
Timely coordination, review, submission, and escalation of all applicable Risk & Governance reports and ensure sufficient depth of risk analysis and develop mechanisms for the tracking of the risk identified.
