  Job Descriptions:

  
  1- Market Analysis:
• Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about trends, prices, and factors influencing the palm oil market.

Analyse supply and demand dynamics, weather patterns, geopolitical events, and other factors affecting palm oil prices.

2- Trade Execution:

• Execute trades for buying and selling palm oil, considering market conditions and client requirements.

Monitor and manage trade positions to optimize profitability and minimize risks.

3- Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain relationships with palm oil producers, suppliers, and clients.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with various stakeholders in the palm oil supply chain.

4- Risk Management:

• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses.

Stay updated on regulatory changes and compliance requirements in the palm oil industry.

5- Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination:

• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure efficient transportation and delivery of palm oil products.

Monitor inventory levels and manage logistics to avoid shortages or excess stock.

6- Financial Analysis:

• Track financial performance related to palm oil trades.

7- Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local and international trading regulations.

Stay informed about sustainability standards and certifications related to palm oil production.

8- Market Intelligence:

• Stay updated on global economic conditions, trade policies, and industry news.

Provide insights and recommendations based on market intelligence to guide decision-making.

9- Communication:

• Effectively communicate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Provide regular updates on market conditions and trading activities.

10- Continuous Learning:

• Stay abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and best practices.

Attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualification / Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, agriculture, or a related field.
  

• Proven experience in commodity trading, preferably in palm oil.
  

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  

• Understanding of global trade regulations and sustainability standards.
  

• Prior experience in palm oil commodity trading will be an added advantage.
  

• Able to work independently and comfortable in a collaborative environment.
  

• Willing to travel.
