Job SummaryTo ensure smooth and efficient operation of the outlet. Operate the outlet as a business unit as per the standards and procedures and practice managerial principles, in order to achieve outlet goals in terms of guest satisfaction, financial targets, training and high employee morale.
- Dues and responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To achieve outlet goals, in terms of guest satisfaction, financial targets, training and high team morale.
- Manage the work of staff, closely in order to provide courteous and efficient service to all guests.
Enforce the correct sequence of service beyond expectation. Conduct training of the staff to maintain the highest possible service standards.
- Conducts in a manner expected commanding respect from fellow colleagues and helps construct a strong team atmosphere.
Ability to maintain and develop an elegantly appointed environment, with superior staff, dedicated to an attentive, distinctive experience for all dining periods.- To drive sustainability of the outlet by driving revenue while ensuring a high standard of service during hours of operation.
Take part in hiring, training, supervising and disciplining all staff.
- Enforce the correct and consistent service techniques for various meal periods will be demonstrated by all staff.
Anticipated, in advance, all materials and supplies and assure their availability.- Control usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.
Check daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the outlet; make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure a supporting team of professionals.
Ensure a safe working environment for all staff within the outlet.- Know all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service. Also, have advanced knowledge of coffee.
Give opinions and suggestions performance evaluations for all staff.
- Maintain a daily log for communication between outlet staff and with upper management.
Promote teamwork and foster a harmonious working climate.- Promote good public relation and handle complaints or concerns of guests.
Handle all inventories directly involved with the operation of the outlet.
- Handle all related systems accordingly.
Properly handle and report staff and guest accidents.- Respond properly in any emergency or safety situation.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the management.
- Continually be aware of outlet needs as they relate to staffing.
Control standards, performance, staff conduct, dress code, appearance, sanitation., according to established policies.- Propose changes to improve staff's performance and teamwork.
Keep staff informed about company's policies and changes.
- Keep the waste factor in the outlet at a minimal level.

Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Experience/Knowledge
Proven 3 years experience as an Outlet Manager or similar role in a cafe, bistro, or casual dining establishment.
- Strong knowledge of Management principles, Cafe Operaon, and best pracces specific to cafe-style cuisine.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizaonal and multitasking abilies
Willingness to relocate and work at Sunway Pyramid
.- Required to work on shift, weekends and public holidays
Understand P&L management experience at the outlet level
- Develop an excellent skill in upselling (Sales Script/Tone/Body Language)
Problem Solving Skills, independently- Strong leadership skills, an enforcer and executer, planner, proactive, resourceful, problem solving, decision making and result oriented
Humble, always ready to listen and learn from others

Working Conditions
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
