Provide comprehensive optometry services
as per SOPs and policies such as examine patients eyes to detect signs of ocular diseases and vision abnormalities.perform optometric diagnostic tests
, e.g. OCT, Visual Field, Biometry, Fundus Imaging, Hess chart, etc. To perform
pediatric eye examination and assessment.
- Document history including complaint and relevant symptoms, ocular health, medication usage, medical and family history, current vision aide if applicable, and any other pertinent data.
Clearly document diagnosis and treatment plan
, including referrals and management in patients medical records.critical and emergency management
according to the hospitals protocol and policies. Refer patients with the needs to Ocularist and orthoptist for prosthetic eye and vision therapy, respectively.
- Perform counselling for eye surgeries, such as laser vision correction and cataract, and provide pre- and post-operative care.
