Responsibilities- Examine patients eyes to determine the nature and degree of vision problems or eye disease, and prescribe corrective lenses or procedures
Perform tests to determine visual acuity and perceptiveness and to diagnose disease and other abnormalities- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other aids or therapeutic procedures that correct or conserve vision
Consult with and refer patients to an ophthalmologist when specialized treatment is necessary
- Required skills and qualifications
Bachelor of Optometrist (Fresh graduate are welcome)
- Practicing Certificate (APC) for Optometrist & Optician
Knowledge of latest advancements in optometric theory and technology- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
