Job Title: Operations Officer (Sea Import)Our client are committed to excellence in logistics and ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. We are currently seeking a reliable and organized Operations Officer to join our team.
As an Operations Officer, a Storekeeper/Warehouse Assistant, The Operations are you are responsible for the quality of production after the customer/agent business is secured. The customer/agent will gauge the quality of the company based on the performance of operations. This position is crucial for the company to succeed on the long run.
- Receive the pre-alert, make sure full pre-alert is received and no document missing, all instructions are there, such as (but not limited to): buying/selling/billing party/ delivery address/forwarding agent/ scope of work/etc.
- Keep checking vessel arrival date and update all parties accordingly: customer, agent, system, etc.
- Send Arrival notice to customer and update if vessel arrival is changed.
- Coordinate with declaration team for customs clearance and delivery.
- Make appointment with consignee for delivery.
- Reply or acknowledge any email within same day for any email received on/before 5PM.
- Prepare and send billing to customer within 3 working days after cargo delivered.
- Push vendors if invoices are late / missing and escalate to management for assistance if needed.
- Raise questions / comments if anything is unclear.
- Undertake ad-hoc task assigned.
- Submit all reports as requested by HQ / management within the deadline.
- Make sure all jobs are properly closed within deadline.
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Logistic/Transportation. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply!
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin (Advantage)
- Willing to learn!
- Willing to travel to Bukit Rimau, Shah Alam.
