Role Description Summary
This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Manager at BLH ECOENERGY SDN. BHD. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the sales & operation team including company day-to-day sales & operations activities to ensure smoothness in daily processes between depts and eventually assisting company achieved its objectives.
This role will focus on optimizing operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing resources, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The Operations Manager will also oversee the installation and maintenance of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations throughout Malaysia and ensuring compliance with regulations including identifying opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Sales Management
- To ensure sales team are able to perform to its task well by providing support, advise, documentation, drafting terms and conditions to trainings.
- To support sales team where required including meeting customer, conduct presentation, site visit, estimations, provide solutions and to connect sales to the rest of the team.
- Sales management where sales is not present, to engage in full process from site survey, meeting, quote prep to installation and handover
- CRM to manage customers beyond sales and installation as contact/referral person
Operational Efficiency
- Implement and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement a quality control plan to ensure project delivery meets required standards. Supervise construction processes, conduct quality inspections, and drive improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
- Ensuring back-office operations running smoothly on parts such as applications, procurements, accounts, admins.
- To ensure applications are processed smoothly such as documents required are in order and timely and compliancy of TNB, ST, Bomba, and Majlis Applications.
- To communicate with clients/sales person on documents required/pending and to advise on status.
- To assist on procurements and to ensure materials for technical are ready to be on site for installation.
- To arrange for transportation of materials, heavy equipment for site use and to arrange accommodation for all staffs.
- Ensure claims submitted are processed, DO, Invoices received are processed for accounts dept.
- Ensure stock receival and stock out in order.
Qualification, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's in electrical engineering, business admin or equivalent with minimum 4-5 years working experience in related field/ electrical industries.
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the electrical or construction industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willing to travel.
- Independent, able to work under pressure
- Knowledge of EV charging technologies and infrastructure is a plus.
