The Operation Assistant is responsible for monitoring and controlling bus operations through a centralized command center. This role involves real-time coordination, incident management, and communication with bus drivers, dispatchers, and other relevant parties to optimize the overall efficiency and reliability of bus services.
Real-Time Monitoring: Monitor bus routes and schedules in real-time using tracking systems. Respond promptly to deviations, delays, or disruptions in bus services.
- Communication: Maintain constant communication with bus drivers, dispatchers, and other relevant staff. Provide timely updates on service status, incidents, and any operational changes.
Incident Management:
Respond to and manage incidents, accidents, and emergencies. Coordinate with emergency services and implement contingency plans as needed.Schedule Adherence:
Ensure that buses adhere to scheduled routes and timetables. Address and resolve issues related to service disruptions and delays.Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and complaints related to bus operations. Work to improve the overall customer experience with bus services.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and scheduling, to optimize overall bus system performance. Coordinate with traffic management authorities and law enforcement as needed.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey information clearly and concisely during high-pressure situations.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions in dynamic situations.
Technological Proficiency:
