Oncology Product Specialist
The Product Specialist (Oncology) is responsible for promoting and selling Sun Oncology products to Healthcare Professionals. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the oncology field, achieving sales targets and staying informed on the latest industry developments and evolution in the treatment landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement strategic sales plan and related activities like customer events, sales and marketing campaigns, sales presentations to meet or exceed the sales target for Sun Oncology product range within the assigned territory.
- Develop and manage relationships with Healthcare Professionals to ensure customer satisfaction and best in class customer relationship.
- Develop Territory business plan, incorporating Key Account Management initiatives as well as Territory coverage planned according to sales potential and customer prioritization.
- Deliver tailored product/corporate presentations to Healthcare Professionals, ensuring delivery of all key selling messages to targeted customers and use of appropriate marketing resources as outlined in the product plan of action.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitors activities and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats within the oncology market.
- Provide comprehensive product information, respond quickly to queries and offer support to Healthcare Professionals to facilitate informed decision making.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of oncology products, treatment protocols and the competitive landscape to ensure productive & effective engagement with Healthcare Professionals.
- Complete and report analysis of territory sales, territory sales forecasting, call activity, customer feedback and market insights on a weekly/monthly basis. Ensure the accurate and timely completion of reports.
- Contribute positively to the team through cooperative relationships and collaborative efforts to achieve team and company objectives.
- Ensure all promotional activities and meetings with Healthcare Professionals comply with industry regulations, company policies and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Degree, or equivalent. Candidates with an education background in science are preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical industry.
- Exposure in TA Oncology.
