Job BriefTo support daily operations of company IP Core Network, assist Project Manager for project delivery, assist business development team for technical clarification, assist Pre-Sales/Product team preparing proposals and liaise closely with fiber operation team (O&T) for issues related to company fiber optic infra.
- Operate, analyze and resolve incidents from end-user and propose technical resolution.
- Must be familiar with OTDR Tester and Power Meter device and Layer 2/3 tester (RFC2544)
- Provision new circuit for customer which include installation, configuration and testing.
- Perform Site Surveys for new project requirement and provide solution and documentation for implementation.
- Assist Project Manager from project site survey stage to project delivery stage.
- Manage WAN's inbound and outbound traffics, and domestic and global networks.
- Responsible for Designing, Configure, and Implementation of customer network infrastructure based on customer's requirement and budget.
- Manage and support internal and external network.
- Maintain and ensure the network infrastructure is well integrated, properly configured, tested, and secured.
- Implementing LANs and WANs network architecture for organization and customer based on requirement, budget limitation, and suitability.
- Makes device configuration changes.
- Provide troubleshooting support for Clients / Field Services technicians.
- Provides customers with ticket status updates, and completes customer callbacks when the trouble has been resolved.
- Operate, analyze and resolve customer's and network issues and propose technical resolution in time.
- Responsible for the preparing and maintenance of the log troubleshooting notes and network trouble tickets.
- Liaise with the telecommunication provider on line related matters.
- Work in the diverse group of the network operation officers for the repair activity of Fiber optic cable
- Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Computer /communication engineering or equivalent.
- CCNA or any equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in network and telecommunication field.
- Skills
- Ability to maintain a large network with complex network technology.
- Good TCP/ IP networking skills.
- Strong understanding of telecom networks.
- Knowledge in MPLS technology including L2/L3 VPN and traffic engineering.
- Knowledge in Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches.
- Knowledge in routing protocols (OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, ISIS and BGP).
- Knowledge in QOS design and configuration is a plus.
- Experience in using Microsoft Visio.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Knowledge in networking protocols such as Ethernet, MPLS, ADSL, and layer 3 or routing protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF.
- Proficient on working in IP addresses, routing and switching.
- Exceptional ability to analyse and resolve the issues of the customers
