Job Title: Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a network engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and administering our cloud networks. The primary duties will include maintenance of computer networks, hardware,

software, and other related systems, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data,

software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when

necessary. You will also be working closely with the users of our network in order to identify potential issues and fix existing problems.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage cloud-based network infrastructure (including VPCs, subnets,

VPNs, load balancing, etc.)

Manage hybrid and multi-cloud network environments, ensuring seamless connectivity between on-premise infrastructure and the cloud, including site-to-site VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, or equivalent.

Implement and maintain secure network configurations within cloud environments, including

firewalls, security groups, NACLs, and VPNs to safeguard the organization's cloud-based resources.

Troubleshoot network-related issues within cloud environments and resolve connectivity, performance, and security incidents in a timely manner.

Continuously monitor network performance and cloud resources, optimizing for speed, reliability, and security. Utilize cloud-native monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Monitoring) to ensure high availability.

Maintain detailed documentation on cloud network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Regularly update the team on network performance metrics, incidents, and improvements.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Development team, Disaster Recovery team, cloud architects, and security teams, to integrate networking solutions into application workflows, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with best practices.

Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.

Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.

Qualifications and Skills:

Min 3 years working experience in managing medium/ large size network , both on prem and

on cloud .

Bachelor degree in information technology related field of study with a network engineering

focus.

Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.

Proven experience in networking within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud),

including VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, and inter-region connectivity.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers.

Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.

Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.

Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.

Ability to work with all levels of staff across company wide as well as with external parties.

A self-starter, resourceful and able to work independently. Excellent team player.

Experience in Network Security, LAN and WAN.

Relevant network certifications, such as CCNA, Azure Network Engineer etc, are a plus.
