Job Description:- Attend agents inquiries and quote them.
Target to increase business volumes year on year with incentive scheme provided by company.- Oversee job files generated by agents and make sure service meets agents expectations.
Build relationship with agents (phone, mail, visits) and go and attend meetings / conferences with agents if requested by management.
- Monitor shipments until job is closed. Management considering to implement SMARTSHEET monitoring for agents too.
Provide related instructions to overseas agent + On Time MY operations; make sure such instructions are being applied.- IMPORT: receive pre-alert, make sure they are in order, then pass to operation for handling with instructions.
EXPORT SEA: place booking to shipping lines / consolidator and pass the job to operations for handling with instructions.
- EXPORT AIR: place instructions to operations for booking & handling.
Quotation from local vendors (carriers, haulage, warehouse, etc): contact directly vendors for quotations. Vendors selection coming from Management (LM + MR).- Entertain carrier inquiries to CS and/or sales teams.
Must reply or acknowledge any email within 24 hours.
- Meet vendors with management based on instructions from top management.
When out of office set up auto reply with contact details of back up.- Undertake ad-hoc task assigned.
Submit all reports as requested by HQ / management within the dead line.
