Job Description:- Install and maintain Ethernet, coaxial, and telephone cables in buildings.
Work with the technical team to design and set up cabling systems for strong and expandable network connections.- Terminate and label cables, connectors, and wall jacks according to the standards and to ensure proper signal transmission.
Install, organize, and maintain network equipment like racks, cabinets, and patch panels to keep cables neat and efficient.
- Use testing equipment to verify cable quality and functionality, and fix any connectivity issues.
Follow industry standards and regulations to ensure high-quality cabling.- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during cabling work.
Assess client needs, create network plans, and choose the right types of cables.
- Install wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures.
At least possess a certificate or diploma in the related field.
- Must have knowledge of different types of cables and how to install, test, and fix it.
Knowledge and experience in installing telephony cabling, card access, alarm systems, or structured cabling will be an added advantage.- Have problem solving thinking
Able to travel and possess a driving license.
- Able to work at Bukit Jalil.
