- Why Youll Love This Role:
As a Network Admin, youll be a key player in ensuring our network runs smoothly and efficiently. Youll have the opportunity to:
- Assist in monitoring network performance to ensure availability and reliability. Utilize network monitoring tools to detect and resolve issues proactively.
Help configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Work with the team to diagnose and resolve network issues such as connectivity problems, hardware failures, and security breaches.
Participate in implementing network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.- Provide technical support to end-users experiencing network-related issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.
Assist in documenting network configurations, procedures, and changes for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Learn and support the implementation of network backup and recovery procedures to safeguard against data loss and system failures.
Assist in the maintenance and upgrading of network hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.- Continuously expand your knowledge of networking technologies and best practices through training and hands-on experience.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Administration, or a related field- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs. Familiarity with network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls
Experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking tools. Basic knowledge of network security practices is a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
Good verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with team members and end-users- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving network environments
Network-related certifications and Cloud VCN are a plus but not required
Competitive Pay: Earn between RM3,
- 00 - RM3,500.00 per month, depending on your experience and skill set
