About the role:
We have grown at a fast pace in recent years through acquisition and we are now searching for a highly-organised, skilled and detailed-oriented Netsuite Specialist to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the various finance teams to perform their BAU functions, driving best-practice throughout the departments use of Netsuite.
Your mission:
BAU Support
Support AP, AR and GL teams in the execution of their regular duties, with particular focus on month-end activity.
Support FP&A team with the continued development of Finance Reports and Saved Searches within Netsuite UI.
Act as point of contact for accounting-related queries, assisting in audit preparations as needed.
Data Import
Execute existing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to migrate data from ancillary finance systems to NetSuite. This includes data from external payment collection and expense tools.
Reconciliation
Develop and implement reconciliation procedures to ensure ongoing accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
NetSuite Configuration
Work closely with the Head of Finance Transformation and external NetSuite developers to configure and optimize NetSuite settings for seamless integration and data reconciliation.
Provide expertise in leveraging NetSuite functionalities to incrementally enhance financial operations.
Documentation
Create comprehensive documentation of finance operations processes, reconciliation procedures, and NetSuite customisations.
Ensure that documentation is kept up-to-date and readily accessible to support ongoing system maintenance .
Collaboration And Communication
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and address any issues.
Provide user training and collaborate with finance management on the communication of best-practice to the finance-user base.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience supporting the finance function in a NetSuite environment.
Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
NetSuite certification is a plus. Workflow design and SuiteScript are not key requirements of this role.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
