Requirements- 3+ years of experience as a Naval Architect or similar position in the marine industry
Intermediate ability on Rhino3D or similar 3D Design platform (but you will need to learn Rhino3D)- Basic ability in Maxsurf Stability, Maxsurf Modeler & Maxsurf Resistance (optional)
Has common sense in receiving instructions
Good communication skills in both English & Bahasa Malaysia- Able to produce ideas and innovations in the design
Able to work with other departments such as production and mechanical
- Owned transport, preferably.
Work closely with other Naval Architects on ongoing projects
- Closely collaborate with contractors, production team, and mechanical team
Producing 3D Models of marine vessels and related items for management and client review- Provides 3D Rendering using Keyshot for each ongoing project
Producing GAs using Rhino, construction plans, plan submission to surveyor and supervising construction process,
- Conduct stability analysis using Rhino based on international standards/classes such as AMSA, ISO, RINA
Ad hoc task given by the Team Leader & Management.
