MuleSoft and RHEL system administrator
Summary
The Mulesoft and RHEL System Administrator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the squad hosts and applications. This includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software and hardware, as well as ensuring the security and performance of the systems.
The System Administrator will also be in charge of the infrastructure requests managed by other teams like follow-up of Firewall update requests
Responsibilities
1. Installation and Configuration:
Installing and configuring java software
Scripting the installation with Ansible scripts
Setting up and maintaining MuleSoft environments, ensuring smooth integration and efficient data flow
2. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and addressing issues promptly.
Troubleshooting technical problems related to MuleSoft, RHEL, Docker, and OpenShift.
3. Security and Efficiency:
Ensuring the security and efficiency of the IT infrastructure.
Implementing security protocols, access controls, and best practices.
4. MuleSoft Administration:
Managing MuleSoft applications, APIs, and connectors.
Configuring and maintaining MuleSoft runtime environments.
Monitoring of Mulesoft API performance
Install Mulesoft Runtime
5. RHEL Expertise:
Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.
Managing servers, user accounts, and system resources on RHEL platforms.
6. Containerization with Docker:
Experience with Docker containers.
Deploying, managing, and scaling applications using Docker.
7. OpenShift Deployment and Management:
Setting up and maintaining OpenShift clusters.
Deploying applications, managing resources, and ensuring high availability.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in system administration
Strong technical skills in operating systems, networking, and security
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Deploying, managing, and scaling applications using Docker
Knowledge of Ansible, MuleSoft is a plus
