Primary Function: - Participate and hands-on in mold design activities to ensure the mold design concept is according to customer specification and requirement.
- Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare DFM for initial mould design concept study and discussion.
- Manage design interfaces between customer/suppliers to ensure all design activities is conducted on-schedule, within an agreed design concept and according to customer mold specifications and requirement.
In charge for 3D mold design and 2D drafting, ensure all work is performed accurately and efficiently.- To prepare BOM list for material and mould components purchase.
To ensuring design cad files, drawing and documents are maintained in line with company procedures.
- Effective communication and co-operation with mold maker and machining team.
Resolve any design technical issues, modification or tweaking jobs in a timely manner.
Minimum diploma in Mechanical engineering or equivalent.- Work Experience: Minimum 4 years experiences in related field.
Preferably in _
plastic mold design and fabrication_.
- Others: Experiences in _Siemen NX 3D modelling_ and Drafting.
Can communicate and write in English.
Middle level in Microsoft Office.
