JOB PURPOSEThis role is to provide support to the Category Manager/Assistant Category Manager in driving the category growth within the company. The expectation is for the role holder to be managing the administrative aspect of the designated category covering the report compilation, order management, and supplier relations on order and delivery.
- ACCOUNTABILITIES /KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the administrative aspect of Merchandising buying such as product order report preparation, keying in of orders upon order confirmation, procurement and retail item maintenance.
- Responsible to execute the allocation plan based on the store assortment and ensure there is sufficient inventory and wary of stock surplus.
Monitor delivery progress with the suppliers and update to stores on delivery information.- Support the Category Manager/Assistant Manager in updating the report on product launches, sell-through monitoring and any other report under the category.
Provide support to the Merchandising team and company whenever necessary.
Proficient in excel skills (Basic formula, VLOOKUP and Pivot Table)
- Knowledgeable on merchandising processes
Excellent communication and presentation skills
- QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
1 year and above of relevant experience in sports retail/fashion industry or other retail merchandising area
