Your main responsibilities shall among others include the following:
- Participate actively in menu development process from conceptualization to product launch to ensure projects completed according to schedule
Work co-operatively with international culinary chef, suppliers and internal teams from Marketing, QA, Supply Chain, Operations and Training to ensure success launches of new products- Create new products for Limited Time Offer (LTOs) and improve existing products according to culinary guidelines, target cost and are competitive in the industry
Create product procedures that are feasible and simple to execute in QSR kitchen
- Conduct material testing including feasibility, sensory, holding tests for approval as replacement / alternative material
Gather, analyze and report on latest food trend information for idea generation- Maintain organized documentation of test reports, product procedures and relevant supporting documents to facilitate in information sharing
Perform any other tasks as entrusted by superior or Head of Department and / or any other representatives assigned by the Management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a minimum of a Diploma in Food Service / Food Science or equivalent.
At least 1 year of working experience in the related field or fresh graduate in relate field.- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Creative, analytical, result oriented and has passion for innovation in food.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
