Job Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Transcriptionist proficient in Mandarin or Cantonese and English to work with our US-based client. The role involves transcribing and translating medical reports, conversations, and other healthcare-related documents from Mandarin/Cantonese into English and vice versa. The ideal candidate will have strong language skills, familiarity with medical terminology, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe and translate medical conversations, reports, and notes between healthcare providers and patients from Mandarin/Cantonese to English and vice versa.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and confidentiality in all transcription tasks.
- Interpret and record complex medical terminology in both languages.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure understanding and correct interpretation of medical information.
- Maintain strict adherence to healthcare regulations, data privacy, and patient confidentiality.
- Proofread transcriptions to ensure consistency and eliminate errors.
- Meet tight deadlines while ensuring high-quality transcription and translation services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese and English (both written and spoken).
- Prior experience in medical transcription or translation is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology in both languages.
- Excellent listening skills, with the ability to capture details accurately.
