- Position: Medical Intern (Database & Research)
- Location: Remote with 3 Days /Week (after Probation Period) in the Office - KL Office: Lorong Tanjong, Bukit Gasing, 46000 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
- Employment:2-Months Probation + 4-Months Internship
- Duration: Full-Time, 5 Days /Week, from 9AM-6PM, for 6 Months starting July-August 2024
Pursuing or completed a degree in Medicine, Public Health, Data Science, or a related field- Ability to conduct literature reviews and synthesise research findings, with an understanding of research methodologies and data collection techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to interpret and analyse complex data sets
- Ability to work remotely and in the field
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with project stakeholders- Familiarity with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets, for collaboration and document management
Fluent in both English and Malay, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
Database Upkeep: Update and maintain community databases to ensure accuracy and reliability; and Perform routine data quality checks to rectify any discrepancies
- Caseworker Support: Assist Caseworker Teams with information management for ongoing cases; and Distribute reports to Caseworker Teams, and train on database usage
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of database processes and updates; and Prepare regular reports summarising database activities and data insights- Database Management: Build and maintain community databases for various projects; and Develop database structures to accommodate project-specific needs
Project Database Officer: Oversee project-related data activities, ensuring accurate collection and entry; and Coordinate with project teams to gather and input data relevant to objectives
- Compensation: 2-Months Probation: RM500 and 4-Months Internship: RM1,000 /Month + Allowances for Field Work
