Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the building services sector. To have a minimum of 3 years of experience and a strong background in designing ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation), Cold Water, Sanitary, and Fire Protection systems.
Key Responsibilities:
i) Design and develop ACMV, Cold Water, Sanitary, and Fire Protection systems for various building projects.
ii) Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports related to mechanical systems.
iii) Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and optimal design solutions.
iv) Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
v) Attend project meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss project requirements, progress, and technical issues.
vi) Ensure designs meet all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
vii) Assist in the preparation of project budgets, schedules, and resource planning.
Qualifications:
i) Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
ii) Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering within the building services industry.
iii) Proven experience in designing ACMV, Cold Water, Sanitary, and Fire Protection systems.
iv) Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.
v) Well versed in Uniform Building By Laws, Malaysian Standards, and other relevant codes related to building services mechanical design.
vi) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
vii) Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and attend meetings with various stakeholders.
viii) Possess a valid driving licence and is able to drive.
