MISSION
This position is responsible for supporting business requirements by creating, updating, verifying, and cleaning up master data for vendors, customers, products, materials, bill of materials (BOM), etc., as well as to comply data governance best practices in the delivery of master data management services such that high quality (timely, complete, accurate and consistent) master data is achieved, maintained which used to drive business results.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain all relevant master data for vendor, customer, products, materials, etc. and ensure the updates are appropriate, authorised and documented.
All data maintenance tasks are to be performed on a timely basis based on defined service levels.
Master data cleansing involves validating and detecting erroneous and obsolete data to maintain data accuracy.
Provide ongoing user support and training for master data maintenance to ensure master data is accurately set up in SAP and other systems.
Understand and analyse the relativeness of each SAP module/other system and business requirement in detail and advise from a Master Data point of view.
Ensure a central database is fully maintained per daily business operational changes.
Govern and coordinate master data synchronization requirements during the migration timeframe to ensure the accuracy of data transfer between the legacy and SAP systems.
Lead cross-functional communication and manage change control process by obtaining consensus and approvals from stakeholders across the organisation with support from the Master Data manager.
Manage and resolve master data-related issues and stakeholder enquiries.
Develop, simplify, and document business processes and workflow.
About you
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in business or any related field
Proficient in Japanese to effectively communicate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders, customers & supplier, at least JLPT N2 qualification. And English in supporting other job markets as and when needed
Working experience in ERP systems such as SAP, literacy in MS Office (Excel, World, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Good analytical skills. Able to interpret data into meaningful information for decision-making.
Understanding Master Data activities and their relationship with the business (sales, supply chain, finance, etc.)
Detailed-oriented, independent, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
Ability to learn and develop in a multicultural environment.
Customer-focused with an emphasis on clear communication.
