Purpose
Provide support to the sales and distribution teams in relation to activities for which Partnership Operations is responsible. Ensure the business areas have accurate data on which to monitor and improve sales performance, meet compliance and governance requirements, execute the liaison between field and internal areas in order to deliver high levels of customer service and ensure effective sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management
- Supporting role to the day-to-day operation work in the partnership teams including enquiries from customers/agents, policy processing and endorsement requests, quotation, referral cases, data management, payment, reconciliation of daily transaction.
- Communicate effectively with partners and internal stakeholders regarding any operational request.
- Identify and raise operational or technical issues within the department.
- Able to provide suggestion/feedback on existing process flow to improve better customer experience.
- Provide administrative support in the onboarding of new partners/ agents, ensuring documents are properly organized.
- Finance Operation:
- Oversee and monitor accounts receivable to ensure that all outstanding payments are tracked and collected in a timely manner.
- Handle all aspects of payments due to partners, including raising requests to finance team in a timely manner to ensure accurate processing, disbursements, and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Perform regular reconciliations of partner accounts to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Review statement of account on outstanding balances, and resolution of issues for review by the manager.
- Communicate effectively with partners and internal stakeholders regarding payment schedules, discrepancies, and other financial matters.
- Project Management:
- Assist in project by conducting user acceptance testing (if required).
- Ensure proper documentation of test evidence and to raise any findings promptly.
- Data Management/Reporting Requirement
- Perform any required weekly/monthly reporting to the partners.
- Ensure cleanliness of data received, work with internal stakeholders and external parties to troubleshoot the data errors.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices in data management.
In addition to your regular duties, you may be required to handle any ad-hoc tasks or assignments that arise as assigned by your hiring manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management/ Finance, accounting or any related field.
- Fresh graduates or one to two years of experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- A team player and able to manage the internal and external stakeholders and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in sales support role, or knowledge of the insurance products and industry regulations will be an added advantage.
