JOB DESCRIPTION:
Monitor the performance of agents and direct business under my SBU.
To ensure agents and clients will comply with Bank Negara guidelines. Monitor the supply and control the issuance of the cover notes.
To arrange with the risk surveyor to conduct a pre-acceptance surveyor and another risk survey including loss minimization when necessary. Responsible for collection premiums from agents/clients and other intermediaries
To ensure timely issuance of policies/endorsement. To keep tap and ensure that agents comply with CBC, MMC, and CPD hours.
To continuously recruit new agents to enlarge the networking base. Maintain the correct portfolio mix of business or type of business as required by company management.
Achieved targets as set by management to support the companys business plan and objectives.
Attend communication meetings and any other meetings where relevant.
Be multi-skilled and able to assist other sections/departments within the company as and when required. Performs any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Monitoring agents renewal. Provide non-motor quotation to the agent.
Approaching and guidance to the agent on non-motor product/knowledge. Giving CPD training to agents.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum at least 2-3 years of working experience preferably in the insurance industry
Good track record in sales & servicing
Proficient knowledge of insurance products and operations (an advantage)
Management and Retention of key accounts
Right attitude and team-working attributes.
Must be meticulous with the ability to work under pressure.
Must be self-motivated with the ability to work under minimum supervision.
Good communication & presentation skills, pleasant personality
