Purpose of the RoleThe Marketing Manager sits within the Commercial Team and will be responsible for leading the marketing, branding and overall communications of the company, both internally and externally. This includes the portfolio of products within Nutrition Technologies. You will work closely with the Sales, Design, R&D and Management team. You will be the bridge between the company and its external stakeholders, as well as taking responsibility for maintaining an awareness of what is happening in the market, and ensuring a constant pipeline of new leads is fed to the Sales Team.
The Marketing Manager will be in charge of designing, planning and executing a marketing strategy that matches the needs of the company, and you will lead various projects that will help the company grow from a start-up to a corporation.
Building pipeline of qualified leads for the Sales Team through traditional and digital marketing campaigns
Ensuring that NT's marketing materials are well designed, engaging and clear in their messaging
Delivering a communications strategy that ensures key messages are effectively distributed across international trade media & key customer audiences
Facilitating effective internal communication channels for internal corporate messaging
Developing and driving lead generation activities:
Support the sales team to drive enquiries according to the sales strategy.
Design, execute and track marketing campaigns (advertising, events, online media) adapted to target clients with targeted KPIs
Attend and organize expos, conferences and industry sales events
Designing and delivering marketing materials and sales tools:
Digital media assets, website management and social media channels
Presentations, brochures, bunting & other printed materials
Design, plan and execute marketing and communication strategies driving industry awareness of the business, with a focus on attracting new investors:
Promote the company activity, team and its unique business model
Engage and maintain the company portfolio of key target industry stakeholders and investors
Understanding key differences between us and competitors, highlighting our key value propositions
Bachelor degree or higher in Marketing / Communication, with more than 5 years of direct experience in Marketing. Ideally for a successful start-up company.
Strong numeracy and ability to present reports in easy to understand language and data representations
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English to non-native english speakers, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
Good ability to work in team and coordinate cross department projects
Strong computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets and presentations
Demonstrate application of knowledge and understanding of key principles in:
Marketing
Communication
Public relations
Understanding of the animal feed and fertiliser sectors is ideal.
Be able to demonstrate strong management skills and the ability to motivate a team
Be dynamic, hard working and energetic and be able to inspire and encourage others
Able to plan, organize, evaluate and lead activity schedules and direct the work of others.
Strong attention to detail, while also able to see long-term strategic improvements and developments
Exhibit a good attitude and demonstrate interpersonal skills to work with people from different backgrounds.
- Reporting Lines & Supervision
You will report to the Product Director, and will work closely with the Sales team, New Product Development Team Commercial-facing senior leadership.
You will work closely with the Regulatory & Product Coordinator and the FSRA team, as well as the rest of the commercial team. You will line manage the Marketing & Communications Executive and the Creative & Content Executive.
