Job Purpose:
Execute marketing activities including brand building/ communication/ creative/ business development of company to achieve set objectives and profitable growth.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible to implement effective marketing plan and strategies for Malaysia
- Constantly monitor and keep abreast of customer/market requirements and competitors movement & offerings.
- Responsible for information gathering and market intelligence, which also includes economic-related information ie. Construction activity and outlook, geographical movement, market trends in building materials, construction rules and regulation, import/export of activities by all relevant private and public organizations in the construction industry.
- Managing the communications strategy and actively communicating the brand message to stakeholders. To also instill brand awareness amongst stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective communication activities/tools to support the sales of products and systems.
- Manage and control A&P budget to achieve optimum return on investment.
- Liaising with building authorities, industry professional bodies and other professional stakeholders.
- To ensure up-to-date with relevant authorities with regards to the changes in the regulations and standards and to ensure business comply with the changes in the regulations and standards.
- Involvement in other A&P activities.
- Oversees the day-to-day maintenance and administration of organization's website.
- Creating new content for the website or auditing its existing content to identify areas of improvement.
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy
- Manage and oversee social media content and strategy
- Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
- Come up with creative and fresh ideas to engage with existing and potential customers.
- Ad hoc task assigned by management.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma/ Advanced Diploma/ Degree in Marketing, Management, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, or its equivalent
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills. Knowledge of both oral and written Bahasa Malay and Chinese languages would be an added advantage
- Able to work independently and also a team player
- Creative, proactive, aggressive and analytical with pleasant attitude
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, confident, and outgoing
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels.
- Eye for detail, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Able to work on Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator or Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro will be an added advantage.
- At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Building Materials Industry candidates will be an added advantage
- Good networking and contacts with Architects, Designers, Developers, Contactors and any other related to Building Materials Industry will be an added advantage
