ROLE SUMMARYResponsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote Makan Shoppe. The role involves market research, brand management, campaign execution, content creation, and digital marketing. The Marketing Executive plays a key role in enhancing brand visibility, attracting new customers, and driving sales growth. They work closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales and product development, and manage both online and offline promotional activities to ensure the success of the brand in a competitive market.
- Market Research & Analysis
- Conducting market research to identify customers trends and preferences.
- Analyzing competitors and market conditions to understand the position of the brand.
- Brand Management
- Developing and maintaining the brand image of the Makan Shoppe.
- Ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all platforms, including packaging, advertising, and promotions.
- Campaign Development
- Planning and executing marketing campaigns, both online and offline, to promote products or seasonal offers.
- Managing promotions, special events, tastings, and collaborations to attract new customers.
- Content Creation
- Overseeing the creation of content, including social media posts, blogs, videos, and other marketing materials.
- Collaborating with creative teams to produce promotional materials such as posters, advertisements, etc.
- Digital Marketing
- Running digital marketing campaigns including social media advertising, email marketing, and influencer collaborations.
- Monitoring website traffic and social media engagement to optimize content and campaign strategies.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and clients.
- Managing customer feedback, loyalty programs, and engagement through digital and physical channels.
- Sales Support
- Supporting the sales team by providing marketing materials and strategies to boost product visibility and sales.
- Tracking and reporting sales data, as well as providing insights for performance improvement.
- Budgeting & Reporting
- Managing marketing budgets for campaigns and projects.
- Reporting on the performance of marketing initiatives, including ROI, engagement, and sales impact.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams
- Working closely with product development, sales, and operations teams to ensure a smooth execution of marketing strategies.
- Collaborating with external agencies for advertising, PR, and event management.
- Event Coordination
- Organizing food festivals, media events, seasonal product launches, etc.
- Coordinating with event partners, influencers, sponsors, and vendors to ensure successful execution.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, or any related field
Experience:
i. Entry-level: 1-2 years of marketing experience, preferably in F&B or related sectors
ii. Mid-level: 3-5 years of experience with a successful marketing track record
Proficiency in marketing tools (Google Analytics, CRM systems, etc.): StoreHub advantageous
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
Marketing strategy development and execution
Market research and data analysis
Brand management and positioning
Proficiency in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing)
Content creation and basic design skills (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
Event planning and coordination
