Job Description

Our client, an iconic lifestyle and entertainment brand, is seeking a passionate and strategic Director of Marketing to lead and drive marketing initiatives for their F&B and nightlife venues at Resorts World Genting. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the brand's growth, enhance its market presence, and build a culture of excellence.

The role involves regular travel to and from Genting, with the client offering support for transportation or accommodation as needed.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand growth and business performance. You will lead marketing efforts across digital and traditional channels, focusing on enhancing the brand presence in the nightlife, hospitality, and entertainment sectors.

  • Developing and executing marketing and sales strategies to meet financial and branding objectives for F&B and nightlife venues.
  • Overseeing the planning and execution of events, promotions, and campaigns to attract customers.
  • Leading digital and social media marketing efforts alongside traditional advertising initiatives, ensuring integrated campaigns across all platforms.
  • Building strategic partnerships to implement cohesive online campaigns that optimize revenue streams.
  • Setting and monitoring KPIs for each marketing channel and driving continuous improvement.
  • Managing marketing efforts, including social media, email, public relations, digital advertising, and partnerships.
  • Staying informed of the latest marketing tools and technologies to enhance marketing performance.
  • Maintaining and updating the relevant website and brand assets.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales and stakeholders at Resorts World Genting, to achieve financial objectives and ensure smooth execution of events.

Requirements

You are degree-qualified with over 10 years of marketing expertise and 3 to 5 years of leadership experience, preferably within the hospitality or entertainment industry. You have demonstrated expertise in successfully developing and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms. Strong analytical skills and a passion for entertainment, nightlife, and hospitality are essential. You should also possess excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.

To succeed in this role, you should embody the following qualities: a creative and strategic mindset, a collaborative leader, and an individual with a deep understanding of consumer trends and behaviours in the entertainment and F&B sectors.
