Maintenance of servers, user management, package management, troubleshooting, networking, storage and security. Proficient in automation with Ansible and Cloud Formation.
Orchestrating containerized applications using Docker and managed container orchestration with Kubernetes for scalable and resilient deployments.
Linux day to day operations and providing On-call Support for troubleshooting Linux OS and Performance issues.
Creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, automating the end-to-end deployment process and reducing deployment time by 30%.
Configuring Load balancer and High Availability for Linux machines.
Collaborating with development and operations teams to optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive monitoring solutions.
Provisioning Storage volumes and Zoning.
Creating Port groups, datastores and using storage adapters.
Implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, utilizing tools like Ansible and Chef.
Working on terraform to create infrastructure in cloud and on Prem.
Job Requirements
Must be familiar with well-known system monitoring and system configuration & management tools such as ElasticSearch, Grafana, Prometheus, Ansible and saltstack
Possesses programming skills in one of these languages: Java, python - Experience in automating the deployment, configuration, management and troubleshooting containerized, cloud native applications running on Kubernetes
Familiar with message queue systems (e.g., consul, Zookeeper, MongoDB, Redis etc.)
Platform: AWS, Linux native
