Role Overview:
As the Manager of Tender Management for the Asia Pacific region, you will lead the tender management process, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer RFQs (Request for Quotations) and RFPs (Request for Proposals). This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to develop competitive and compelling tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end tender management process for the Asia Pacific region, from receipt of RFQ/RFP to submission and post-submission activities.
- Coordinate with sales, pricing, operations, and other internal teams to gather relevant information and develop comprehensive tender responses.
- Review tender documents and customer requirements to ensure alignment with company capabilities and objectives.
- Lead the preparation and compilation of tender submissions, including documentation, pricing proposals, and other required materials.
- Manage communication with customers throughout the tender process, including clarification requests and negotiation of terms and conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tender activities, including status updates, submission deadlines, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in tender management or related roles within the freight forwarding industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to review tender documents thoroughly to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
- Fluency in English and Chinese.
