Job Objective :
1. Responsible for MFRS17 system implementation and roll out to meet statutory and regulatory requirements. This includes :
- harmonization of accounting policies, methodology / model under integration work
- preparation of MFRS17 financial results and analysis
- preparation of reconciliations i.e. MFRS17 vs. MFRS4 results
2. Responsible for SAP system implementation in collaboration with home office
Roles & Responsibilities:
1.Strategic & Management
- Responsible to provide timely, accurate, and meaningful update on project status, system update (especially on Tagetik system), compliance with regulatory / statutory requirements and financial information to all relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible to provide financial reporting for internal and external
- Provide meaningful analysis of results against budget and prior periods and/or reconciliation with MFRS4 results.
- Ensure financial and accounting systems, controls, policies and procedures are in compliance with applicable accounting and reporting regulations.
- Keep abreast with the development of the business of the company, integration status, changes in regulatory requirements/development and reporting requirements
2.Business Operations
- Ensure effective and efficient administration of day to day operations in line with SOP across all support functions.
3.Compliance
- Ensure consistency with enterprise risk management guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
- Ensure the practice of good corporate governance in the preparation and reporting of financial reporting information.
- People Management.
- Promotes collaboration across organizational boundaries to meet project goals
- Involves others in decisions and plans that affect them.
- Ensure regular communication of key imperatives with MFRS17 project team.
Qualifications & Experience Requirement
- Degree / Advance Diploma in accounting, finance.
- Experience in MFRS17 project implementation, Project Management and Financial Reporting.
- Above 4 years experience in financial reporting / MFRS17 related work.
