As a Manager, Solution Engineer at Epicor, you are part of the Sales team and you will manage a team with responsibility for providing pre-sales technical solutions to potential clients.
What You Will Be Doing
- Set priorities and objectives for the Solution Engineer team and track progress.
- Lead technical efforts supporting sales activities and opportunities by actively engaging with key customers.
- Responsible for managing the design of technical solutions to meet customer requirements with the objective of increasing revenue, profitability and market competitiveness.
- Support the Product team through the product development lifecycle and provide inputs to evaluate new feature requests.
- Provide solutioning support to sales teams to satisfy complex customer requirements.
- Keep abreast of trends in technology and best practice techniques, processes, tools and standards.
- Provide expertise and knowledge to deliver presentations and conduct sales conversations with confidence; assists with cost evaluation and providing pricing solutions.
What You Will Likely Bring
- Minimum of 10 years of experience of presales within the ERP industry or equivalent operational ERP experience
- Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales
- Experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or finance industry
- Documented experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations
- Successful candidates may have worked for companies such as: SAP, Microsoft, Infor, Sage,
- Netsuite or other ERP companies or Value Added Resellers (VARs).

- 8+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
- 3+ years managing and developing employees
- 3+ years of specialized/industry
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
