Position Summary:The Manager Safety & Environment and Certification Compliance is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the Company's Safety and Environment matters and Certification Compliance Achievements. We are currently seeking for suitable candidate to be part of our Factory Operations Team,
to be based at our Production Factory (Nilai, Negeri Sembilan).
_Certification Requirements:
_- Led a team to manage, review and enhance the effectiveness of the overall Factory's Safety and Environment matter, ISO and product certifications management as well as other certifications and /or licenses (IEC, CE, GEMS, SASO, etc.).
Manage and monitor factory operation's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) are timely updates and operations practices including detailed procedures and efficiency results.
- Coordinate and conduct Internal Audit activities throughout the entire factory operations to ensure full compliance with the certification's requirements.
Responsible for ensuring each certification's registration and renewal is well managed and maintained to avoid any interruptions or non-compliance issues.
_As Management Representative (MR):
_- Appointed as Management Representative (MR) to effectively manage Safety & Environment and Certification Compliance and act as the Company's spokesperson to fulfill the requirements of related Malaysia Government and Authority Bodies (e.g. DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, City Hall, SIRIM, MITI, CUSTOM, SPAD, ST, MPN, External Auditors etc).
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Company's Safety & Environmental Standards and Compliance, Factory facilities, machinery, instruments calibration/ verification/ inspection procedures and report writings.
- Responsible for handling the requirements and documentation of the Export Shipment Dangerous Goods Declaration (DG).

Other Responsibilities:_
- Responsible for monitoring, reviewing, submitting and renewing other legal requirements (e.g. CHRA, Poison License, ISCADA, Wastewater Treatment, Audiometric Monitoring, etc).
Responsible for conducting internal Factory Inspections to evaluate and identify any unsafe acts or conditions.- Coordination with all departments, customers, suppliers/subcontractors for matters of quality standards and non-conformity.
Responsible for carrying out corrective and preventive countermeasures to eliminate potential non-conformity.
- Review and reconfirm the disposition of non-conformity products.
To lead 5S and Safety & Health activities throughout the factory operations.- Any other duties that may be given by the Superior from time to time.
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or any related field- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Safety, Environment and Certification leadership roles, preferably in a multinational manufacturing organization.
Registered Safety and Health Officer (with green book) with DOSH.
- Experience as Management Representative (MR) for ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Management Systems, Government Liaison, Auditor etc).
In-depth and comprehensive knowledge of Safety & Environment and Certification regulations, standards and best practices applicable to manufacturing operations (e.g. FMA, OSHA, Fire Services Act, Poison Act and Regulations, Trade Description Act and others).- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful Operational Excellence, Safety and Environment programs across a large, diverse organization.
