Job Description

  • Develop project plans and manage project team throughout the project timeline. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and dependencies.
  • Manage resource allocation effectively for project execution by working closely with stakeholders and department heads. Ensure resources are aligned with project requirements and availability is optimized to meet project timeline/deadlines.
  • Manage risk assessment and mitigation by identifying potential risks and challenges associated with project execution. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Monitor and track progress. Implement project tracking systems and tools to monitor progress against project plans. Regularly update project stakeholders on milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators. Identify deviations from the plan and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Facilitate communication. Serve as a central point of contact for project stakeholders, fostering open communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Organize regular project meetings, prepare agendas, and facilitate discussions to ensure alignment and clarity on project objectives in a timely manner.
  • Establish quality standards and procedures to ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. Conduct regular quality reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Work closely with legal, procurement, and finance team in ensuring the proper review and execution of project contract / agreement for the legal obligation, procurement, and payment milestones as per the company's policies and guidelines.
  • Lead, manage, and execute Change management to ensure all changes are documented, reviewed, and signed off by relevant stakeholders, including internal teams and external parties.
  • Documentation and reporting. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs. Prepare comprehensive project reports for senior management, highlighting project status, achievements, and areas of concern.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning, project management, or a related role within financial industry
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Malay, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and 3rd party vendors.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
