JOB SUMMARY:The post holder will provide professional advice and support to enhance City University Malaysia's maintenance of current, and development of new, international partnerships. The appointed individual will collaborate and communicate with Faculty Deans on matters related to the portfolio (e.g. management of the curriculum mapping process in support of new partnerships), when necessary, attend visits to partner institutions. The post holder will report to the General Manager- Business Development International and Deputy Vice Chancellor, Collaboration on market conditions, competitor activity, and customer behaviour in specific markets and propose recommendations on prospective partnership arrangements.
- KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Being the key contact, or relationship owner, within the University for all current international academic partnership activity. In this task the post holder will be operationally supported by the Assistant Manager or Administrative Executive -International Collaborations.
- To maintain all existing international partnerships and maximise the full potential of all current relationships;
- Contribute towards the development of City University Malaysia's International Partnership strategy in order to build strong academic relationships across all disciplines and levels;
- To contribute to the strategic collaboration development driving student recruitment in partner institutions;
- To expand the global study opportunities available at the University for students to spend a period of their studies off-shore (i.e. articulation/transfer and study abroad options);
- To research any potential partnership opportunities and present opportunities to the General Manager (Business Development) and/or Deputy Vice Chancellor (Collaboration) for initial evaluation;
- Ensure a robust process is in place to support the development of new academic partnerships including ensuring that a due diligence is undertaken for all potential collaborations;
- Provide oversight in the curriculum mapping process from academic partner institutions which will enable students to gain entry into second or third year of a bachelor degree programme at the University;
- Possess a full understanding of the partnerships process and reparation of partnership documentation for proposing partnerships through the Collaborative Unit leadership team, relevant committees, and University management;
- To increase the opportunities which will enable more double/dual-award programmes.
- ANY OTHER DUTIES:
- Perform any other related duties required by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (External Engagement) or General Manager-Collaborations Unit, if any.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
