Job Summary
Be part of the team that built the biggest motor insurance portfolio in Malaysia! Meet and collaborate with stakeholders from other functions who are passionate about insurance and constantly pushing the boundaries of the motor insurance ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Regular monitoring of the motor portfolio performance
- Propose portfolio management initiatives to ensure the sustainability of the motor portfolio, such as identifying portfolio pruning and growth areas, revision of underwriting rules etc.
- Optimise motor-related processes, such as improving turnaround times or improving IT systems, to ensure efficiency and quality service
- Stay updated with market trends and consumer needs, and capitalise on shifts in the industry landscape to stay ahead of the competition
- Keep abreast with regulatory changes and implement the necessary changes to ensure compliance
- Prepare and review policy wordings, endorsements, rate filings, and reports to relevant stakeholders
- Mentor, train, and develop junior staffs and review their work
Key Requirements
- Talents with at least 7 years of relevant work experience or more in General (Non-Life) Insurance
- University degree or equivalent further education
- Have experience in managing direct reports
- High learning agility and work efficiency
- Fluent in both written and spoken English, with good communication skills
- Strong computer application skills in Microsoft Office product suite, especially Excel and Word
