ABOUT US:
Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Manager, IR & Performance Management. In this pivotal role, you managing industrial relations (IR) and performance management processes to ensure compliance with legal standards and corporate policies. This role supports consequence management, including handling disputes, disciplinary actions, and performance-related matters, while maintaining due process and minimizing legal risks to MRT Corporation.
YOUR ROLE:
- Serve as the process owner and subject matters expert for IR cases, including managing employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance-related issues in compliance with legal requirements.
- Prepare, review, and process all relevant IR documentation, including investigation reports, show cause letters, warning letters, and termination notices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to MRT Corp's policies.
- Support end-to-end performance management cycle helping People Partners guide line managers in managing individual performance and consequence.
- Provide advice on IR and performance matters, leveraging legal knowledge to guide HR decisions and ensure due processes.
- Assist in developing and/or delivering training sessions for line managers on IR protocols, performance management processes, and best practices.
- Monitor and report on IR and performance trends, contributing insights to improve processes and prevent potential legal implications.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Minimum Bachelor's Law (LLB) with a minimum aCumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 or higher. Admission to the Bar is optional.
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of corporate HR experience, specifically within industrial relations or performance management.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, disciplinary processes, and performance management frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex IR cases.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, to draft legal documents and reports.
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Decision-making skills in IR-related issues.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in managing documentation and administrative task.
