Manager, Group Financial Reporting

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly consolidation and group reporting/management information within stipulated timelines
• Compile consolidation and group reporting for quarterly announcements to Bursa Malaysia and statutory reporting
• Lead financial performance analysis, identifying variances for monthly, quarterly and budget reports
• Coordinate and consolidate the group's budgeting and planning processes
• Oversee the annual audit process and preparation of the group's financial statements and the group's annual report.
• Manage the GL team, ensuring the monthly closing process adheres to deadlines
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, authorities and other subsidiaries/departments to provide necessary reporting information
• Proactively resolve issues and provide financial advice that adds value, including enhancing operational effectiveness and business processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Professional Qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in group consolidation and management reporting; experience in PLCs and audit firms is an added advantage
• Good command of English language, both written and spoken including report writing skills
• Excellent internal communication & management skills
• Solid planning & organizational skills including attention to detail & multi-tasking skill
