As a
Manager, Fund Execution, you will be accountable to supervise and ensure the optimal functioning of a team by achieving the operational objectives defined by his or her superiors.
- Working hours: 3:00PM 12:00AM/4:00PM 1:00AM (US & LUX)
- Human resources management
Manages a small/medium team of direct contributors.- Defines team objectives, organizes work (assigns roles, defines action plans) and manages individual and team performance.
Helps to resolve problems within the team (alerts hierarchy when necessary).
- Identifies and validates training needs and ensures that training initiatives are carried out.
Helps team members develop their skills.- Organizes and optimizes the human resources allocated to his/her team.
Organizes and leads recruitment.
- Facilitates the integration of new employees.
Identifies skill requirements for current projects and future developments.- Provide the team with an environment conducive to accomplishing missions in the best possible conditions.
If necessary, takes on part of the team's operational activities.
Contributes to projects aimed at optimizing business performance (processes, equipment, information, systems, etc.)
Ensures the proper application of regulations in force and their operational within the Group.- Integrates the principles of the CLIENT Code of Conduct into its activities.
Ensures compliance with CLIENT policies, standards and procedures.
- Implements appropriate measures to prevent, detect and deter corrupt practices corruption.
Understand the business line's strategic objectives and decisions and translate them into coordinated action plans.
- Ensure that team members understand this strategic vision, its short- and long-term and adhere to it.
When faced with several options or questions, seek and/or obtain from other actors all the information needed to make effective, informed decisions based on the relevance of the issue and in compliance with the company's.- Take responsibility for the decision taken (personal commitment), defend it and/or convince others if necessary.
Propose and implement all necessary actions, within the framework of a project, to manage the collective and/or individual impact of change (organization, processes, tools, etc.).
- Encourage team members to take initiative, demonstrate independent thinking and innovation; create the conditions that will enable them to develop and implement new ideas (helping others to dare)
Create learning environments through testing, evaluating initiatives and using failures as a source of collective learning.- Keep abreast of developments in tools, players and/or usages in its field of activity and analyse related risks or opportunities, in order to be a prescriber on the evolution of strategy evolution.
An undergraduate or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business related field.- Typically 3 5 years of related experience in operations processes such as Fund Execution, Global Fund Platform, Investor or Fund Administration.
2-3 years experience in managing and coaching team of operations professionals.
- Excellent communication (written and oral).
Strong attention to details and technicalities and excellent organizational skills.- Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
Good knowledge about Fund/Trust Industry and Financial Markets in general.
- Prior exposure to Operational Risk and the corresponding risk monitoring tools.
A sense of urgency to achieve excellent results.- Flexible, ability to cope with stress and pressure.
Good computer skills.
- Technical skills and proficiency in MS Office applications including PPT, Excel,
Word, and Outlook.
Advanced knowledge of Access or Excel macros is an asset.- Good networking and client relationship.
Independent, confident, self-motivated, pro-active and mature.
- Willing to take on new challenges and work under pressure.
Able to work proactively and independent, but also a good team player.
