Job Summary
This job will be based in Penang. The individual will be responsible for managing ESG data (Environmental, Social and Governance) collection and reporting, analysing ESG performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for improvement. They will also deliver and develop ESG programs focused on collating ESG-related data, monitoring performance, establishing effective systems, raising awareness, and facilitating planning and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of ESG data accounting, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with best practices for the project.
- Track progress and identify gaps in the project's ESG programme.
- Conduct research and analytics on ESG-related topics and certifications, providing insights to inform decision-making
- Prepare ESG reports, management papers, and analysis reports based on research findings.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of ESG initiatives.
Competencies Required
- Enjoys collecting and analysing data.
- Good communication skills.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of working experience; a Master's Degree would be an advantage.
- Experience using visualisation software is an advantage (e.g., MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Power BI, or equivalent).
Skills & Abilities
- Good understanding and working knowledge on ESG.
- Experience in presenting process information through dashboards (digitally savvy).
- Ability to analyse and validate data sets to be represented meaningfully in a timely and effective manner.
